Lost Sheep | Luke 15:1-3, 11b-32
This week we read from Luke the Parable of the Lost Sheep
The invitation here is to take the step, no matter what we've done, to come back to a God that wants to embrace us, and the invitation is limitless, the welcome is always there to welcome us home.
There is also the invitation to acknowledge your own mistakes and come back and accept God's love.
There is the temptation to believe that everything we have is God given - some of the challenge in this story is question that is what we are doing what God wants, or is He just letting us doing it?
There is a message here is - have we identified for ourselves what is holding us back, and are we prepared to let it go for God?

Prayers & Psalms
Each Sunday, prior to the sermon we have created a space for more voices from our community; One of our children read a Psalm from ‘Psalms for Young Children’ by Marie-Hélène Delval.
Followed by a prayer, shared by a member of our congregation, focused around what's happening in the world, our country and our community. We have included some of these on our Prayers Page for you to revisit and reflect on the words that they shared.
