Rest | Mark 6:30-34, 53-56

This week we continue looking at the theme of rest.

We are in the midst of an anxiety epidemic in our culture, we are always having to buy more, we are always having to do more.

Reading from Mark Chapter 6 this week, we are reminded that the Sabbath is an invitation to have one day to fully rest and recover from all that you do.

We are encouraged to take the time on the Sabbath to embrace Christian values. To become more Christ-like in the world and to do it by resting. We are invited to take time out, so we can be generous to others with our lives.
