Welcome
It’s great to have you join us this morning. A special welcome to you if you are new here. We hope you’ll stay around after the service and say hi.
Kia tau te rangimarie,
Carolyn.
Today’s Service
This year we are reading through the Book of Mark.
Today we look at a particularly relevant passage for today where Jesus heals the many.
We see two aspects of Jesus here. How he finds hope in dark places and how, if you want to be a transformative presence, the key is to spend time alone with God.
In our busy culture it can seem hard to find time, but it is the one thing that you cannot get more of.
This passage from Mark shows us that you have to have a balance of doing and not doing.
If you want your life's work to be meanigful. Do less.
If you want to make an impact, a difference in the world. Stop.
Mark 1:29-39
John 15:5
